I am grateful to my colleagues for the opportunity to have served as President of Doctors of BC.    It was a privilege and an honour to work on behalf of physicians in this province.  As physicians we have a tremendous opportunity to work together for positive and constructive change in our health care system.  Our ongoing advocacy efforts are essential to build an effective, patient centred system of care in British Columbia.
